Market Notes

Compared to last week, slaughter cows and bulls traded steady. There was moderate demand on a light supply of slaughter classes. A group of quality cow calf pairs brought in a herd dispersal created good demand on a moderate to light supply of replacement cattle.

Supply included: 75% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 12% Bulls); 25% Replacement Cattle (39% Bred Cows, 7% Bred Heifers, 54% Cow-Calf Pairs).
