Compared to last week, slaughter cows sold mostly steady to 2.00 higher, and bulls sold steady. Supply was light this week due in part to heavy rains over the area the last several days. Many higher quality cows being held for the upcoming special sale. There was one good dispersal this week consisting of several good quality but thin cows with newborns at their side. The slaughter cow offering contained many dairy cows this week.
Supply included: 65% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 12% Bulls); 35% Replacement Cattle (24% Stock Cows, 51% Bred Cows, 25% Cow-Calf Pairs).
