Market Notes

Compared to last week, feeder steers traded unevenly steady from 2.00 lower to 5.00 higher. Feeder heifers traded mostly 2.00 to 4.00 higher with spots up to 7.00 higher on lightweight calves. Despite average to below average quality for the majority of the offering this week, spring like weather brought in many buyers to easily find all cattle in the offering new homes.

Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (45% Steers, 4% Dairy Steers, 41% Heifers, 10% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 43%. AUCTION This Week Last Reported 2/15/2023 Last Year Total Receipts: 1,505 1,134 251 Feeder Cattle: 1,505(100.0%) 1,134(100.0%) 251(100.0%)
