Compared to last week, slaughter cows traded 3.00-4.00 higher and slaughter bulls traded 1.00-2.00 higher with some high dressing cows and bulls trading 5.00-8.00 higher. Demand was good especially on slaughter animals. The supply was moderate with a heavy supply of slaughter animals, a moderate supply of bred cows and a light supply of pairs.
Supply included: 71% Slaughter Cattle (90% Cows, 10% Bulls); 28% Replacement Cattle (37% Stock Cows, 56% Bred Cows, 4% Bred Heifers, 2% Cow-Calf Pairs, 2% Bulls); 1% Replacement Dairy Cattle (100% Fresh/Milking Cows).
