Compared to two weeks ago, slaughter cows and bulls traded steady to 2.00 higher. Demand was good on a moderate supply of replacement animals and a heavy supply of slaughter cows. Producers took advantage of the sunshine and milder temperatures to bring cattle to town in advance of the expected Winter weather.
Supply included: 71% Slaughter Cattle (91% Cows, 9% Bulls); 29% Replacement Cattle (33% Stock Cows, 47% Bred Cows, 13% Bred Heifers, 6% Cow-Calf Pairs).
