Compared to last week, slaughter cows traded 2.00-3.00 higher with most of the gain on lean cattle. Slaughter bulls traded 1.00-2.00 higher. Demand was good on a moderate supply. Receipts were higher than expected considering the special cow sale this Saturday.
Supply included: 49% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 51% Replacement Cattle (33% Stock Cows, 47% Bred Cows, 17% Cow-Calf Pairs, 2% Bulls).
