Compared to last week, best tested steer weights of 400-699 lbs. traded steady to 4.00 lower while same weight heifers traded steady to 3.00 higher. Demand was good on a light supply affected by muddy conditions from heavy overnight rains. For the past several weeks, heifer calves have outnumbered steer calves and this week was no exception. There were several larger packages of 6 weight heifers in the offering that were in good demand.
