Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold 2.00 to 5.00 higher with many instances 7.00 to 10.00 higher on steer cattle over 600 lbs. Slaughter cows 2.00 to 3.00 higher. Excellent quality again this week and good condition on most of the cattle as well. Several large strings gave buyers some numbers to build their orders around. Demand was good for all weights, with the yearling cattle gaining back most if not all of last week's sharp losses. Supply heavy.

Supply included: 86% Feeder Cattle (62% Steers, 38% Heifers); 9% Slaughter Cattle (95% Cows, 5% Bulls); 5% Replacement Cattle (40% Bred Cows, 60% Bred Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 62%.
