Compared to last week, steer calves weighing 450-600 lbs sold 5.00-8.00 higher with instances 10.00-12.00 higher, 600-700 lbs sold steady to firm on comparable weights, with 700-750 lb steers selling 2.00-4.00 higher and 6 pot loads of yearling steers weighing 867-878 lb sold with a sharply higher undertone with no recent comparisons. Feeder heifers weighing 400-500 lbs sold firm to 3.00 higher, with 500-600 lb heifers selling on a very active market traded 8.00-10.00 higher, instances 15.00 higher with overall quality and weighing conditions very good, a pot load of fancy blk 617 lb heifers sold with a higher undertone. Demand was good to very good on a moderate supply. There was a number of stick out sales especially on the 5 weight heifers and 9 pot loads of yearlings all sold on a very active market. Slaughter cows sold steady to firm.

Supply included: 88% Feeder Cattle (71% Steers, 28% Heifers, 1% Bulls); 12% Slaughter Cattle (91% Cows, 9% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 53%.
