Compared to last week, 400-650 lb steers and heifers sold firm to 5.00 higher, with 500-550 lb steers selling spots 7.00-8.00 higher, feeders over 650 lbs sold with a firm to higher undertone on light comparisons. Slaughter cows sold 3.00-6.00 lower.
Supply included: 79% Feeder Cattle (55% Steers, 43% Heifers, 3% Bulls); 16% Slaughter Cattle (12% Steers, 7% Heifers, 73% Cows, 8% Bulls); 5% Replacement Cattle (40% Bred Cows, 60% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 48%.
