Compared to last week, a very light test this week as auctions were closed early in the week for July 4th holiday with late week sale of steer and heifer calves lightly tested with 600-750 lb steers and heifers over 800 lbs trading with a firm to higher undertone Slaughter cows sold steady to firm.Supply included: 80% Feeder Cattle (53% Steers, 46% Heifers, 1% Bulls); 20% Slaughter Cattle (20% Steers, 8% Dairy Steers, 63% Cows, 9% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 70%.
