Compared to last week: No accurate comparison on steer and heifer calves or feeders due to weighing conditions not as favorable and higher percentage of unweaned offerings but a lower undertone noted. Slaughter cows 1.00-2.00 higher on limited quotes, bulls steady. Trade moderate to active, demand good.
Supply included: 81% Feeder Cattle (58% Steers, 38% Heifers, 3% Bulls); 12% Slaughter Cattle (69% Cows, 31% Bulls); 7% Replacement Cattle (50% Bred Cows, 50% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 23%.
