Compared to last week, steers calves sold mostly steady, with 500-550 lbs 8.00 lower. Heifer calves were steady to 5.00 lower. Feeder steers traded steady to 4.00 lower. Feeder Heifers were 3.00-7.00 lower. Trade and demand moderate. Slaughter cows steady to 4.00 lower. Slaughter bulls not well tested.
Supply included: 89% Feeder Cattle (62% Steers, 36% Heifers, 1% Bulls, 2% Dairy Heifers); 7% Slaughter Cattle (95% Cows, 5% Bulls); 5% Replacement Cattle (96% Bred Cows, 4% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 44%.
