Compared to last week: Steer calves and feeders steady to 2.00 higher. Heifer calves under 600 lbs. 3.00-4.00 higher, feeders over 600 lbs. steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter cows 3.00-5.00 higher, a few high yielding cows 6.00-7.00 higher. Bulls 2.00 higher on limited offerings. Trade active, demand good.
Supply included: 65% Feeder Cattle (55% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 43% Heifers, 2% Bulls); 14% Slaughter Cattle (92% Cows, 8% Bulls); 22% Replacement Cattle (47% Bred Cows, 6% Bred Heifers, 44% Cow-Calf Pairs, 3% Heifer Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 35%.
