Compared to last week: Steer and heifer calves sold 6.00-8.00 lower on comparable quotes. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady on limited quotes. Slaughter cows and bulls sold 3.00-4.00 higher. Trade and demand good.
Supply included: 61% Feeder Cattle (51% Steers, 44% Heifers, 4% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers); 28% Slaughter Cattle (87% Cows, 13% Bulls); 11% Replacement Cattle (15% Stock Cows, 80% Bred Cows, 5% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 25%.
