Compared to last week: Steer and heifer calves sold 4.00-5.00 lower. Feeder steers and heifer sold mostly steady on comparable quotes. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to1.00-2.00 higher. Trade and demand moderate.
Supply included: 67% Feeder Cattle (49% Steers, 46% Heifers, 5% Bulls); 25% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 8% Replacement Cattle (70% Bred Cows, 17% Cow-Calf Pairs, 13% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 23%.
