Compared to last week, slaughter steers sold steady. Dairy steers sold strong. Heifers sold steady. Dairy heifers sold strong. Slaughter breaker cows sold steady; boner cows sold weak; lean cows sold steady. Overall, feeder dairy calves sold weak. Buyer demand was moderate on a moderate supply for both the slaughter cattle sales and the feeder dairy calf sale.

Supply included: 14% Feeder Cattle (2% Steers, 8% Dairy Steers, 42% Heifers, 36% Bulls, 13% Dairy Heifers); 64% Slaughter Cattle (23% Steers, 14% Dairy Steers, 21% Heifers, 36% Cows, 1% Bulls, 5% Dairy Heifers); 22% Feeder Dairy Calves (90% Bulls, 10% Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 45%.
