Compared to last week, slaughter steers sold steady. Slaughter dairy steers sold strong. Slaughter heifers sold steady. Dairy heifers sold steady on a light comparison. Slaughter cows sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher. Buyer demand was moderate on a moderate supply for the slaughter cattle sale. Feeder dairy calves sold weak. Buyer demand was moderate to good on a moderate supply for the feeder dairy calf sale.

Supply included: 20% Feeder Cattle (15% Steers, 18% Dairy Steers, 21% Heifers, 27% Bulls, 19% Dairy Heifers); 56% Slaughter Cattle (24% Steers, 13% Dairy Steers, 11% Heifers, 39% Cows, 9% Bulls, 3% Dairy Heifers); 24% Feeder Dairy Calves (86% Bulls, 14% Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 43%.
