Compared to last week, slaughter steers sold steady to 2.00 higher on good demand. Slaughter heifers sold firm on a light test. No comparison available for dairy steers and heifers. Slaughter cows sold 1.00-3.00 higher, with no comparison for slaughter bulls. Overall supply for the slaughter cattle sale was light to moderate, with heavy buyer attendance and good overall demand. Feeder dairy bull calves sold firm and with good demand. Feeder dairy heifers sold 1.00-3.00 higher. Overall demand, supply, and buyer attendance for the calf sale was moderate. Todays sale supply included; 212 steers, 122 heifers, 63 bulls, 469 cows, 627 calves, and 140 misc. cattle.

Supply included: 59% Slaughter Cattle (23% Steers, 2% Heifers, 57% Cows, 18% Bulls); 41% Feeder Dairy Calves (89% Bulls, 11% Heifers).
