Compared to last week, Steers sold 4.00-5.00 lower, with Dairy Steers selling firm on a light test. Heifers and Dairy Heifers sold weak on a light test this and last week. Bulls sold 4.00-5.00 lower, with Cows selling steady to 3.00 higher. Buyer attendance for the slaughter cattle sale was moderate, with moderate demand and supply of cattle. Feeder Dairy Bull calves sold 10.00-20.00 lower, with Heifer calves selling weak on a light test. Weak prices in the calf sale may be reflective of recent hot weather limiting the demand for feeder dairy calves. Buyer attendance was moderate, with light demand on a moderate supply of calves.

Supply included: 60% Slaughter Cattle (39% Steers, 8% Dairy Steers, 4% Heifers, 37% Cows, 10% Bulls, 2% Dairy Heifers); 40% Feeder Dairy Calves (88% Bulls, 12% Heifers).
