Compared to last week, Steers and Dairy Steers sold steady to 5.00 lower. Heifers and Dairy Heifers sold steady to 4.00 lower. Bulls sold 2.00 -4.00 lower, with all classes of slaughter Cows selling steady to 2.00 lower. Weak prices may be reflective of increased slaughter cattle counts compared to the last few weeks. Overall, buyer attendance and demand was moderate on a moderate to heavy supply of slaughter cattle. Feeder Dairy Bull calves sold 4.00-5.00 higher, with Feeder Dairy Heifer calves selling mostly steady on a light test. Buyer attendance and demand was moderate on a moderate supply of calves. Todays sale supply included; 334 steers, 222 heifers, 68 bulls, 231 cows, 580 calves, and 235 misc. cattle.

Supply included: 60% Slaughter Cattle (38% Steers, 5% Dairy Steers, 7% Heifers, 30% Cows, 13% Bulls, 7% Dairy Heifers); 40% Feeder Dairy Calves (91% Bulls, 9% Heifers).
