Compared to last week, Fresh/milking cows sold strong. No comparison on bred cows. Springer cows sold steady with a strong undertone noted on a light comparison. Buyer demand was moderate on a light supply for the replacement dairy cow sale. Bred heifers sold steady. Open heifers sold unevenly steady. Buyer demand was moderate on a heavy supply for the replacement heifer sale.
Supply included: 100% Replacement Dairy Cattle (12% Fresh/Milking Cows, 1% Bred Cows, 1% Springer Cows, 53% Bred Heifers, 11% Springer Heifers, 20% Open Heifers, 3% Bulls).
