Compared to last week, Boning and Lean slaughter cows sold steady with a firm market undertone, with Breaking slaughter cows selling steady to 2.00 lower. No comparison is available for slaughter bulls. Buyer attendance, supply, and demand for the slaughter cattle sale was moderate. Feeder dairy bull and heifer calves sold steady to 5.00 higher on moderate to good demand with moderate to heavy buyer attendance for the calf sale. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA QSA-LMAR program graded 311 head for Tuesday's sale.
