Compared to last week: Steer and heifer calves traded mostly steady to 1.00-2.00 higher. Feeder steers and heifers sold 4.00-5.00 higher on active trading. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. Trade and demand active. Some areas of the state received welcoming moisture of up to 3 1/2 inches of rain.

Supply included: 76% Feeder Cattle (53% Steers, 43% Heifers, 4% Bulls); 17% Slaughter Cattle (92% Cows, 8% Bulls); 7% Replacement Cattle (83% Bred Cows, 17% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 21%.
