Compared to last week . slaughter cows were mostly steady and slaughter bulls were mostly 5 to 8 higher. Feeder cattle were mostly 4 to 8 higher. Demand was high; market activity and buyer interest were high. Offerings of cattle were moderate. Cattle quality was well above average. 2 hogs

Supply included: 82% Feeder Cattle (28% Steers, 45% Heifers, 27% Bulls); 15% Slaughter Cattle (80% Cows, 20% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (13% Stock Cows, 50% Bred Cows, 38% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 14%.
