Compared to last week: Slaughter cows 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 2.00 to 3.00 higher. Demand was moderate for the slaughter cattle and good for the replacement females. Supply included 296 cows and bulls with 62% going to the packers.
Supply included: 32% Feeder Cattle (100% Steers); 42% Slaughter Cattle (84% Cows, 16% Bulls); 26% Replacement Cattle (21% Bred Cows, 79% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 0%.
