North Dakota Weekly Cattle Auction Summary

Archived Report

5/28/2022

Total Run: 1,417

Market Notes

Compared to last week: Only 1 reported auction this week, price comparisons not practical. Good demand for feeder cattle remains, especially for those that can run on grass as yearlings as the prospects for a full grazing season are good thanks to the recent moisture that has been received. This report will not be released again until the late summer/early fall marketing season, as is normal due to the seasonal nature of feeder cattle marketing in North Dakota.

Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (48% Steers, 52% Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 64%.
