Compared to last week, all classes of feeder cattle were unevenly steady. Slaughter cows were 5.00 lower, and slaughter bulls were steady. There were heavy offerings of mostly plain to average quality cattle with active buyer participation, and light demand for cattle with excessive hair.

Supply included: 72% Feeder Cattle (35% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 48% Heifers, 16% Bulls); 14% Slaughter Cattle (79% Cows, 21% Bulls); 5% Replacement Cattle (24% Stock Cows, 49% Bred Cows, 3% Bred Heifers, 22% Cow-Calf Pairs, 3% Bulls); 6% Slaughter Goats (69% Kids, 20% Nannies/Does, 10% Bucks/Billies, 2% Wethers); 0% Replacement Goats (100% Nannies/Does); 2% Slaughter Hogs (78% Barrows & Gilts, 17% Sows, 6% Boars). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 10%.
