Compared to last week no comparisons made on feeder steers and feeder bulls due to limited comparable sales, feeder heifers 4.00 higher, slaughter cows mostly steady, slaughter bulls too few to trend. Moderate offering of average to plain quality cattle with active buyer participation.
Supply included: 77% Feeder Cattle (11% Steers, 82% Heifers, 7% Bulls); 10% Slaughter Cattle (84% Cows, 16% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (79% Stock Cows, 11% Bred Cows, 5% Cow-Calf Pairs, 5% Bulls); 3% Slaughter Goats (6% Kids, 35% Nannies/Does, 53% Bucks/Billies, 6% Wethers); 0% Replacement Goats (100% Nannies/Does); 6% Feeder Pigs (100% Pigs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 72%.
