Compared to last week, there were too few comparable feeder steer and feeder bull sales to establish trends. Feeder heifers were 2.00 to 5.00 higher. Slaughter cows were steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls were up to 5.00 higher. There were light offerings of mostly average quality cattle with active buyer participation.

Supply included: 57% Feeder Cattle (30% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 47% Heifers, 22% Bulls); 22% Slaughter Cattle (91% Cows, 9% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (68% Bred Cows, 32% Cow-Calf Pairs); 10% Slaughter Goats (40% Kids, 23% Nannies/Does, 34% Bucks/Billies, 2% Wethers, 2% Wether Kids); 0% Replacement Goats (100% Families); 3% Feeder Pigs (100% Pigs); 4% Slaughter Hogs (95% Barrows & Gilts, 5% Sows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 9%.
