Compared to last week, feeder steers and feeder bulls were unevenly steady. Feeder heifers were 3.00 lower. Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls were steady. There were moderate offerings of mostly plain to average quality cattle with active buyer participation.
Supply included: 70% Feeder Cattle (38% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 36% Heifers, 25% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers); 14% Slaughter Cattle (91% Cows, 9% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (8% Stock Cows, 46% Bred Cows, 46% Cow-Calf Pairs); 12% Slaughter Goats (62% Kids, 19% Nannies/Does, 15% Bucks/Billies, 4% Wethers); 2% Feeder Pigs (100% Pigs); 1% Slaughter Hogs (73% Barrows & Gilts, 9% Sows, 18% Boars). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 11%.
