Compared to last week: Feeder steers 750-800 lbs. were steady, steers 900-1000 lbs. sold 3.00 higher, a much higher undertone was noted on steers over 1000 lbs. Heifers 700-800 lbs. were 4.00 higher, heifers 800-950 were 7.00-10.00 higher, a higher undertone was noted on heifers 950 lbs. and up. Demand was very good, with many large lots in todays offering. Buyers could fill large pens today with one man feeder cattle. There will be no auction next week on July 1st, next feeder cattle auction will be July 8th, expecting 3500 head of feeders, starting at 9:00 am. Have a safe and happy 4th of July.
