Compared to last week: Much larger offering of cattle this week, steers and heifers 2.00 to 6.00 higher except 650-700lb steers 4.00 to 6.00 lower, 750-800lb steers 8.00 to 10.00 higher, 700-750lb heifers 9.00 to 10.00 higher. Demand for this large offering of cattle was good, 700800lb steers and heifers made a full advance this week. Several semi loads of preconditioned, eye appealing steers and heifers made the auction exciting to record. CME Live Feeder cattle up today. CME Corn Futures down. Slaughter cows Breaker 1.00 to 2.00 lower, Boner steady, Lean 2.00 to 3.00 lower. Slaughter Bulls to few to make a meaningful comparison.
Supply included: 97% Feeder Cattle (49% Steers, 51% Heifers); 3% Slaughter Cattle (94% Cows, 6% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 96%.
