Market Notes

Demand was very good for this nice offering of quality steers and heifers, that were mostly weaned up and fully vaccinated. Packages and load lots sold on an active market with lots of buyers in the stands. Buyers are optimistic despite the war in Ukraine and the lack of winter snow pack, as spring weather sets in with lots of prayers for rain. The next sale is a Bred Cow special, on April 1, selling all classes. The next Feeder Calf special is in two weeks.

Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (55% Steers, 45% Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 57%. AUCTION This Week Last Reported 3/11/2022 Last Year Total Receipts: 1,517 1,779 1,521 Feeder Cattle: 1,517(100.0%) 1,779(100.0%) 1,521(100.0%)
