Compared to last week: steers 550 to 800 lbs mostly steady, 801 to 950 lbs 3.00 to 5.00 higher. Different weight classes of heifers today than last week so an accurate trend could not be established. Good to very good demand for today's large offering. Similar to last week, many packages, loads, and multiple loads of both home raised and backgrounded cattle were offered. Quality mostly attractive today. Flesh varied, from moderate to some heavy flesh at time, more flesh overall than seen last week. Cattle suitable for grass continue to be very sought after. Some tag seen this week, lots are getting hard to maintain. Some of the area saw more snow this week and temps remain below normal for this time of year. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, March 31.
