Market Notes

Compared to two weeks ago: Steers from 450 lbs to 699 lbs were 4.00 to 6.00 higher, 700 lbs to 849 lbs were steady to 2.00 higher; feeder heifers from 500 lbs to 749 lbs were generally 2.00 to 4.00 higher. No other comparisons available. Good to very good demand for this offering of high quality steers and heifers. Better demand for the lighter fleshed hay feed cattle to moderate plus backgrounded cattle. Several long strings of reputation cattle gave buyers the opportunity to put multiple loads of one owner cattle together, lots of part loads and packages available today as well. Lots of order buyers and internet bidders made for an active market today. A few weather related cancellations as parts of the area received some much needed moisture this past week. Next sale will be in two weeks, April 23, 2021. Stay safe.

Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (57% Steers, 43% Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 73%. AUCTION This Week Last Reported 3/26/2021 Last Year Total Receipts: 6,118 7,093 3,306 Feeder Cattle: 6,118(100.0%) 7,093(100.0%) 3,306(100.0%)
