Compared to last week: Feeders on a very light supply due to extreme rainfall and flash flooding were trading very strong. Steers were mostly 10.00 to 15.00 higher. Heifers traded 15.00 to 20.00 higher and in some instances 25.00 higher. Slaughter cows traded 2.00 to 6.00 higher and slaughter bulls were steady to 2.00 higher. Suppy was very light, demand was strong, and quality was good.

Supply included: 82% Feeder Cattle (20% Steers, 48% Heifers, 32% Bulls); 16% Slaughter Cattle (83% Cows, 17% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 6%.
