Compared to last week: Stocker and feeder steers sold 8.00 to 10.00 lower. Stocker and feeder heifers sold steady to 5.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold 2.00 to 4.00 lower. Slaughter bulls sold mostly steady on a light test. Supply was moderate to lighter with weaker buyer demand on most cattle, fleshy calves along with several bull calves were discounted.
Supply included: 84% Feeder Cattle (24% Steers, 36% Heifers, 40% Bulls); 14% Slaughter Cattle (83% Cows, 17% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (67% Bred Cows, 33% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 16%.
