Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers and bulls sold 5.00 to 10.00 higher. Feeder heifers sold 3.00 to 7.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold 2.00 to 5.00 higher. Slaughter bulls were mostly steady to 5.00 higher. Supply was moderate with strong demand.
Supply included: 86% Feeder Cattle (31% Steers, 39% Heifers, 29% Bulls); 11% Slaughter Cattle (77% Cows, 23% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (58% Stock Cows, 25% Bred Cows, 17% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 19%.
