Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 600 lbs sold 4.00-20.00, mostly 11.00 higher; over 600 lbs not well tested. Feeder heifers sold 5.00-10.00, mostly 8.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold 2.00 higher. No comparable receipts from last week for Slaughter bulls.
Supply included: 79% Feeder Cattle (46% Steers, 47% Heifers, 7% Bulls); 11% Slaughter Cattle (74% Cows, 26% Bulls); 10% Replacement Cattle (23% Stock Cows, 35% Bred Cows, 38% Bred Heifers, 4% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 16%.
