Compared to last week: On a light test, Feeder steers under 500 lbs sold 5.00-8.00 higher, over 500 lbs sold 2.00-6.00 lower. Feeder heifers sold 2.00-7.00, mostly 4.00 higher. Not enough comparable receipts to establish a trend for Slaughter cows or bulls.
Supply included: 88% Feeder Cattle (68% Steers, 26% Heifers, 6% Bulls); 4% Slaughter Cattle (25% Cows, 75% Bulls); 8% Replacement Cattle (43% Stock Cows, 43% Bred Cows, 14% Heifer Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 38%.
