Compared to last week: On a light test, Feeder steers sold steady to 9.00 higher, with full advance on 500-600 lb weights. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs sold 2.00-3.00 higher, over 500 sold steady to 1.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold 2.00 higher, slaughter bulls not well tested.
Supply included: 83% Feeder Cattle (42% Steers, 56% Heifers, 2% Bulls); 6% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 11% Replacement Cattle (80% Stock Cows, 13% Bred Cows, 7% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 24%.
