Compared to last week: Feeder steers mixed mostly 1.00-4.00 lower with the better 450-550 lbs 2.00-4.00 higher. The offering included four loads of 8 weight yearling steers that sold well with active bidding. Feeder heifers 300-400 lbs 1.00 higher and 400-700 lbs 1.00-5.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 1.00 lower than last weeks light test.
Supply included: 82% Feeder Cattle (64% Steers, 26% Heifers, 10% Bulls); 14% Slaughter Cattle (90% Cows, 10% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (23% Bred Cows, 53% Bred Heifers, 23% CowCalf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 48%.
