Compared to last week: Stocker steers mostly 1.00-3.00 lower on a light or no test in some classes. Stocker heifers steady to 7.00 lower mostly 1.00-3.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls steady to 6.00 higher. A light run due to extreme heat in the area.
Supply included: 67% Feeder Cattle (34% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 49% Heifers, 16% Bulls); 30% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (13% Stock Cows, 44% Bred Cows, 13% Bred Heifers, 6% Cow-Calf Pairs, 25% Heifer Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 28%.
