Compared to last week: Stocker steers mostly 2.00-4.00 higher than last weeks light test. Stocker heifers steady to 7.00 higher. The offering included some groups of value added cattle that sold for a premium. Slaughter cows mostly steady. Slaughter bulls 4.00-6.00 higher than last weeks light test.
Supply included: 89% Feeder Cattle (43% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 43% Heifers, 14% Bulls); 11% Slaughter Cattle (83% Cows, 17% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (57% Stock Cows, 29% Bred Cows, 14% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 23%.
