Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 650 lbs mostly steady to 6.00 lower with the better 500-550 lbs 12.00 lower. Not enough yearlings for a trend last week. Feeder heifers steady to 7.00 higher mostly 4.00-5.00 higher. The offering included several big strings of yearlings with good buyer attendance and active bidding. Cows and bulls not reported due to time limits.
Supply included: 95% Feeder Cattle (57% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 40% Heifers, 3% Bulls); 4% Slaughter Cattle (100% Cows); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 52%.
