Compared to last week: Feeder steers sold 1.00 - 5.00 higher on a meager test. Feeder heifers sold 10.00 - 11.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold 2.00 - 5.00 higher. Slaughter bulls sold 6.00 - 12.00 lower. Cattle was plain to average with some value added cattle selling at a premium.
Supply included: 84% Feeder Cattle (20% Steers, 49% Heifers, 32% Bulls); 12% Slaughter Cattle (76% Cows, 24% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (46% Stock Cows, 31% Bred Cows, 15% Cow-Calf Pairs, 8% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 28%.
