Compared to two weeks ago steers sold 4.00 to 8.00 higher and heifers sold 3.00 to 6.00 higher. Good demand for grass cattle and replacement type heifers. Demand for feeder cattle was moderate to good. Bulk of the sale consisted of long strings of longtime weaned calves. Many lots displayed light to medium flesh as they had been running out on winter pastures and were hay and cake fed.
