Compared to two weeks ago, steers over 700 lbs sold 4.00 to 8.00 higher and heifers over 600 lbs sold 4.00 to 6.00 higher. Light weight calves too lightly tested for a market comparison. Demand was good with several buyers on the seats and internet participation. Offering comprised of bawling and weaned fall calves along with yearling feeder cattle. Quite, a few more cattle on hand Wednesday than advertised. Spotty rain showers across the state with a tick warmer temps helping all forages grow. Next sale June 2nd, expecting calves, feeder cattle and cow/calf pairs.

Supply included: 88% Feeder Cattle (53% Steers, 47% Heifers); 10% Slaughter Cattle (100% Cows); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 82%.
