Compared to two weeks ago cattle trended higher throughout the day. Steers under 550 lbs sold 14.00 to 18.00 higher, over 550 lbs sold 2.00 to 7.00 higher. Heifers under 650 lbs sold 12.00 to 14.00 higher with 550 lbs heifers 20.00 higher on the day. Over 650 lbs heifers sold unevenly steady. Demand was good. Spring tillage is right around the corner so a large crowd of farmer/feeders were attendance filling pens before they get busy farming.
